Day 1 of Painting Atmosphere and Impressionist Landscapes in Provincetown, MA. Mary Giammarro was my instructor. She paints and teaches painting in the Hawthorne traditional style. We used a 1.5 in putty knife from the hardware store! (see below) I was skeptical at first but now I love it. Very loose expressionist style, so much fun and so vibrant!
