Havasu Falls Painting

I painted this early 2009. I was inspired by our trip into Havasu Falls in summer 2008. We hiked into the canyon 10 miles and arrived at Supai Village. It was sooo hot...like 99 degrees! We checked into the hotel and headed straight down to the falls, another 3 mile hike. It was like a beautiful oasis in the desert, a natural water park! The emerald pools were amazing.
